Pool deliveries

Pool deliveries are Zippex’s alternative to surge pricing. We group multiple deliveries that travel in the same direction onto a single driver run — cheaper for senders, denser for drivers.

When a delivery joins a pool

• The dropoff is within a corridor of an existing run.
• The new dropoff adds less than 8 minutes to the existing route.
• Both packages fit the driver’s vehicle.

Trade-offs

• Pros: lower per-delivery fee, less driver-supply volatility, higher likelihood of fast pickup.
• Cons: ETA can vary by a few minutes depending on the order of dropoffs.

Opting out

For time-sensitive deliveries (medical, perishable, premium tier), pass pool: false in the quote request. The fee will be higher but the delivery is guaranteed solo.
