Recipe: Shopify in 10 minutes
Connect any Shopify store to Zippex and offer proximity-based same-day delivery at checkout. Customers within your chosen radius see “Local Delivery by Zippex” as a shipping option. Outside the radius, Shopify falls back to your other rates.
Shopify is currently distributed as an unlisted Partners app
1. Sign up (or sign in) at Zippex Merchant
Go to merchant.zippex.app and create a merchant account if you do not have one. You will need this to own and manage the Shopify connection.
2. Visit the install page
Open https://merchant.zippex.app/install/shopify. Enter your Shopify store domain (for example your-store.myshopify.com) and choose a delivery radius (5, 10, 15 or 25 km).
3. Approve the app on Shopify
You will be redirected to Shopify to approve the permissions: read_shipping, write_shipping, read_orders, read_locations, write_fulfillments. Approving installs Zippex as a carrier-calculated shipping rate and registers the order webhook.
4. Place a test order
Open your Shopify store, add a product, and go to checkout with a delivery address within your radius. “Local Delivery by Zippex” should appear with a live price and ETA. Addresses outside your radius will not see the option.
5. Manage or disconnect
From your Zippex merchant dashboard, open Settings → Integrations. You can adjust your delivery radius or disconnect at any time. Disconnecting removes the Zippex carrier service and webhook from your Shopify admin cleanly.
